Species

All species are represented by an Aspect. This Species Aspect is in addition to the regular Character Aspects. The possible species are

Human

Elf

Hobgoblin

Brownie

Troll

There are no inherent mechanical benefits to belonging to these races. The Aspects can be invoked or compelled like any other, when being a member of that race is useful. For example, Hobgoblins have very good sight in conditions of low light and are naturally hardy. A Hobgoblin might be able to invoke his race for bonuses on rolls to survive a forced march, but hobgoblins are possibly the most maligned of subhumans, may have the Species Aspect invoked when trying to get into an exclusive establishment.
